Daniel Silva x apéro. wine bar aoyama
Dear customers and friends, we are happy to announce you that apéro will exhibit creations of Daniel Silva for the coming months !
• About the artist
Many of Daniel Silva's works are a collection of things that affect and change the environment around them. At first glance, the seemingly uncoordinated work is a new form of work that is not bound by stereotypes, in which one work emerges through the viewer's perspective and contemplation.
What Silva proposes through the Garden Pieces transcends the general boundaries. With the help of many people, with the help of technology, we use data points from our interactions with nature to create installations that can only be drawn in specific places.
• A Fragmented Garden
"A Fragmented Garden" is a proposal by generative artist, Daniel Silva, for a different way to construct a garden. It is initially composed of 50 "Nendo Dango" ("clay dumpling" in Japanese) seed units distributed around Tokyo and will use technology and algorithms to come together as a cohesive system.
The garden will employ a new approach to seed dispersal - using collaborations and participants to distribute and house the Nendo Dango units. The network of participants will report on warmth, time and location of the plants that germinate from each of the units. The collected data will inform the creation of a system of artworks.
We have the great pleasure to host Daniel Silva creations at apéro : enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the restaurant while discovering this unique artist !
