Since 2014, APÉRO AOYAMA Winebar & Table has been a home for people who love wine, good food, and unhurried conversation in Aoyama. After ten years in our original space and a pause for relocation, we’re reopening in Minami-Aoyama with a more mature second chapter. Rooted in French wine bar culture and Japanese craftsmanship, our new home keeps the warmth and conviviality our guests remember, while refining every detail from the cellar and kitchen to the design of the room. Here, every visit is an invitation to slow down, connect, and savour your own journey of taste.

Our team acts as expert guides, not gatekeepers translating regions and vintages into stories, pairings, and discoveries that feel personal to you. The people behind the table
APÉRO was founded by Guillaume Dupérier, a Savoie-born wine lover whose journey took him from banking to more than a decade working with food and wine in Japan. His goal: to bring the relaxed elegance of real French apéro culture to Tokyo, grounded in long-term relationships with growers and guests. In the kitchen, Chef Timothée Barthélémy from Lyon leads the culinary team. After honing his craft in classic French brasseries and Michelin-starred kitchens, then embracing Japanese ingredients in Tokyo, he creates seasonal menus that showcase Japan’s producers through a modern French lens, with both comfort and surprise on every plate.
