We have all heard of Natural Wine, but can we exactly say what is a natural wine? A very interesting question indeed that is still debated today. Contrary to Organic or Biodynamie wines, Natural Wines are not regulated by any legal body; in fact no consensus could be reached on their very definition and nature as yet. Various association of winemakers are trying to prevail and thus impose their own definition of Natural Wine which therefore makes it difficult to precisely define what should be considered as natural and what shouldn't.
That is why we have decided to provide our customers with a very simple definition of "Natural Wine". We will concider as Natural all wines with less than 40mg/L of SO2, from winemakers who are actively protecting their environment, working toward sustainable agriculture.
